About us
Our mission
To improve the financial wellbeing of Australians living with serious illness and/or disability through providing pro bono financial advice, and to inspire others to do the same.
An industry wide collaboration
Established in 2014, the Pro Bono Financial Advice Network was inspired by a presentation delivered to Professional Planner’s Dealer Group Summit that pointed to the opportunity for a industry-wide collaboration focused on the provision of pro bono advice to those in need, specifically, those suffering a personal health crisis.
The value of financial advice
Diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) or other serious illnesses or disabilities, or a sudden worsening of symptoms, can be a stressful time both emotionally and financially, which is why this service is so important.
Making a positive difference
Our Pro Bono Financial Advice Network advisers work with eligible pro bono clients to improve their understanding of financial issues and help give them peace of mind about their financial future.
Meet our Board
We’re a passionate group of professionals with diverse industry experience who believe in the value that financial advice can bring to those who need it most. We work closely with partner organisations and the PFAN network to achieve our mission of improving the financial wellbeing of Australians living with serious illness and/or disability through providing pro bono financial advice.
